KARACHI, April 29 (Reuters) - Pakistan Telecommunication Co Ltd (PTCL) (PTCA.KA: Quote, Profile, Research) reported on Thursday a net profit of 2.5 billion rupees ($29.77 million) in the quarter that ended March 31.
This compared with a net profit of 1.91 billion rupees ($22.74 million) in the same period last year.
PTCL also announced a 1.75 rupees per share cash dividend.
PTCL was trading 2.53 percent higher at 21.45 rupees by 0956 GMT, in a broader market .KSE which was down 0.56 percent.
